The main room of the hall is large, with a high ceiling, making it suitable for all kinds of club and local organisational activities, fundraising events, parties (up to 200 standing and 160 seated), concerts and shows. The meeting room can be used for meetings and lectures and will seat 20 boardroom style or 30 in lecture style. There is a small kitchenette within the room suitable for services drinks and snacks.
Adjacent to the Hall is the Millennium Green. This is one of 245 green spaces created in cities, towns and villages across England to celebrate the turn of the Millennium. There is an oak walk, a football pitch, a children’s playground and a seating area. It is a beautiful and relaxing area for everyone to enjoy. Also adjacent to the Hall is the Tennis Court which is managed by the Parish Council. It can be used by local residents free of charge and is set up for Tennis in the summer and has two goal posts which in winter can be used for netball or basketball.
The kitchen can be used for reheating and serving food and drinks – it is not sophisticated enough to be used for preparation and cooking for large numbers.
Leading off the entrance area are separate ladies and gents toilets, as well as a toilet for the disabled. There is plenty of hard standing for car parking. This is for local residents use only. Users of the Hall are asked to take their rubbish away with them.
